Cookies Policy
Last updated: July 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookies Policy explains how RushForLess SRL/BV ("RushForLess", "we", "us", or "our"), with registered office at 25, Boulevard Saint-Michel, 1040 - Brussels, enterprise number [BCE_NUMBER], uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website (www.rushforless.com), our retailer dashboard, and our mobile applications (iOS and Android) (collectively, the "Platform").
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which provides further details on how we process personal data.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website or use an application. They serve various purposes, including remembering your preferences, analyzing how you use our Platform, and delivering personalized content.
Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, local storage, SDKs (in mobile apps), and device fingerprinting techniques. References to "cookies" in this policy include all such technologies unless otherwise stated.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
3.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of our Platform. They enable core functionalities such as account authentication, session management, security, and load balancing. They cannot be disabled without impairing the Platform. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and exemption under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (transposed in Belgian law by Article XII.6 of the Code of Economic Law).
3.2. Functional Cookies
These cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you make (such as your language preference, selected region, or display preferences) and to provide enhanced, personalized features. Legal basis: your consent.
3.3. Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies collect information about how you use the Platform (e.g., pages visited, time spent, error messages). We use this data in aggregated or pseudonymized form to improve the Platform. We may use third-party analytics providers such as [Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics / Mixpanel]. Legal basis: your consent.
3.4. Marketing and Advertising Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver advertisements that are relevant to you and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They may be placed by third-party advertising networks such as [Meta Pixel / Google Ads]. Legal basis: your consent.
4. Consent and Consent Mode v2
In compliance with EU Consent Mode v2, which has been mandatory across the European Union since July 2025, we implement a granular consent management platform (CMP) on our Platform. Upon your first visit, you will be presented with a cookie banner offering the following separate toggles, each defaulting to OFF:
(a) Functional cookies; (b) Analytics and performance cookies; (c) Marketing and advertising cookies; (d) Geolocation processing (mobile app only); (e) Push notification preferences (mobile app only).
You may change your preferences at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link available in the footer of our website, in the app settings menu, or by contacting us at [PRIVACY_EMAIL].
If you do not consent to non-essential cookies, only strictly necessary cookies will be placed. Your consent status is stored and communicated to third-party tags via Google Consent Mode v2 signals (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization).
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services embedded in our Platform. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies. RushForLess does not control these cookies. Key third-party processors may include:
[Google LLC (Analytics, Ads, Firebase)] ; [Meta Platforms, Inc. (Pixel, Conversions API)] ; [Stripe / Mollie (Payment processing)] ; [Cookiebot / Iubenda / Axeptio (CMP)] ; [Intercom / Zendesk (Customer support)] ; [Mailgun / Brevo (Transactional email)].
A complete and up-to-date list of our sub-processors is maintained at www.rushforless.com/sub-processors.
6. Geolocation and Mobile SDKs
Our mobile applications use device-level geolocation services and SDKs (e.g., Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver geo-targeted push notifications about nearby deals. This processing requires your explicit, prior consent, collected via a separate in-app permission prompt. You may withdraw consent at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Location Services; Android: Settings > Location).
We do not build persistent location histories. Location data is processed in real time to match you with nearby offers and is not retained beyond the session in which it is used, except in aggregated and anonymized form for analytics purposes.
7. Cookie Retention Periods
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser or app. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the duration specified in the CMP cookie table, typically ranging from 30 days to 13 months depending on the cookie category. Analytics cookies are retained for a maximum of [14 / 26] months. Marketing cookies are retained for a maximum of [13] months. Your consent preferences are stored for [6 / 12] months, after which they will be requested again.
8. How to Manage or Delete Cookies
In addition to the CMP controls described in Section 4, you may manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse, delete, or selectively block cookies. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair the functionality of the Platform.
For more information on managing cookies in your browser, visit www.allaboutcookies.org or www.youronlinechoices.eu.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be notified via a prominent notice on the Platform or, where required by law, by requesting your renewed consent.
